    I bought this for my son’s laptop, typed in the make, model and everything. It was the wrong cord! He was so dissappointed and so was I.

    Was not compatible with my HP laptop as described. Took it into Best Buy and the store tested it and said it did not give enough power for my laptop, as it was advertised to do. Ended up spending a lot more money at Best Buy to purchase an AC Adapter/power cord that would function problem free.

    I purchased this new battery charger for my HP laptop and not even a month later, it is broken and I am going to have to buy a new one. This one did not work for even a month. Do NOT buy this product.

    I bought this product with high hopes since it got many good reviews mixed in with a few stating that it died after a month. However, after only 1 month of ownership, the plug began sparking in my outlet and almost started a fire. when the plug was removed from the outlet, it looks melted. That is simply bad quality. And for the pessimitic shoppers who feel that it may be my outlet or electrical system, well, a fan, an aquarium filter and the originial HP charger all work fine in the same outlet after this defective charger sparked. DO NOT BUY. Saving a few dollars short-term is not worth the possibility of a fire, or replacing a cheap charger every few weeks.
