Great, heavy-duty cord. It was the perfect replacement for my Toshiba Satellite. Would have given it 5 stars if the cord were only a foot or two longer. Very lost cost AND very fast shipping!

I purchased two of these power adapters in September of 2009. One of these, I began using immediately and the other I put up for later use. We have several of the same laptops, so I figured I would get a backup cord so that we wouldn’t be down for several weeks waiting on a new one.
First off, the cord is way too short. I had to actually hook an extension cord onto it in order to use it
Anyway, in January of 2010 (just 4-months later) this cord completely stopped working. But wait, you say, there is a fabulous 12-month replacement warranty! Hog wash. This warranty is worthless.
I contacted the seller, and their response:
“Dear Customer, Please be advised that we can’t take the item back at this point. Since you have passed the 30 days return/exchange policy. At this point we strongly suggest that you contact the manufacturer and hopefully they will be able to assist you better. Best Regards, Vernetta DB ROTH”
Wow….this is just fantastic customer service isn’t it. Not only are they refusing to assist me in the matter, they are completely avoiding the issue. How about give me a little bit of “contact” information related to the manufactuer. There certainly wasn’t any in the box and plastic wrap that it shipped in. There is no manufacturer information that I can see on the product itself. Upon doing a Google search, I do not see them.
The only good thing about this was that I was literally on the Amazon site about to purchase two products from the same vendor when the email came through. How fast do you think I cleared my shopping cart out?
