Well, I got the power cable shipped to me in a timely manner. It arrived a couple of days ahead of schedule, was undamaged in any way and came with a mouse pad! Now, the mouse pad looks cool, but it’s not very soft like regular mouse pads, but it’s free so don’t get too upset!
It came with one sheet of very basic instructions, which I did not need as I know how a power cable works.
Looking at the cable, I could tell that it was made thicker and more durable than the Toshiba cable which came with my laptop, especially the part which plugs into the computer. It’s very strong and thick. It doesn’t bend easily, but that’s a good thing! My Toshiba cord broke right at the tip because it bent too much and broke internally.
The HQRP cable has more of a classic composition-like something you might find on a lamp or tv, and it works wonderfully!
Although the power adapter is a bit bigger than on the Toshiba cable, it doesn’t get in the way because the cable is very long.
My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5944 and the cable fits perfectly and doesn’t wiggle or cut out at all.
I’m SO GLAD I bought this instead of the damn Toshiba replacement cable, which is like $89.99 on their website.

This power source is better than the one provided by Toshiba. The plug in to the computer does not stick out as far as the one provided by Toshiba. This prevents your laptop from becoming damaged should someone bump into it.

Contrary to alot of other reviews on Toshiba power cords I found this one to be an excellent product. Wires are much stronger than previous cords I’ve purchased. Now we’ll just see how long it lasts. Also cord is quite long at 12′

I had to have a replacement for my original AC Adapter becaose my dog bit through mine. This was a great product at a great price and so far I am very pleased with the performance. It is more powerful than my original and runs a lot cooler. I use it quite a bit because I always run my computer way beyond the limits of my battery. That way I don’t have to worry about losing any information that I have worked on but haven’t had a chance to save. (Yes, I know I should save my work every few minutes in case of a power outage or something, but I am an old geezer who forgets to do that).

I ordered the replacement power supply cord and the connection at the laptop is very loose. I ordered carefully from the vendor and sent an enote to them about how loose the connection is (If I jiggle it and hold my laptop carefully it will continue to charge.). I have yet to hear back from the vendor about my problem.
