This adapter functions just as well as the original that came with my Acer laptop at a reasonable price.

The original ACER ASPIRE 6930-6809 Adapter-Charger-Power Supply cord failed after 6 months. When connected it ran very HOT. The direct connector to the notebook wouldn’t stay snugly connected to supply power to the notebook. After calling the GEEK Squad and learning I’d need to come in, fill out paperwork THEN wait for ACER to mail a replacement I came to AMAZON. Admittedly having 2 notebooks makes this all possible.
I liked the warranty and pricing offered by OSPREY-TALON and purchased the replacement item. The item worked well for 90 days and this time the actual power pack ran HOT and went fritzy, not charging or supplying power. The OSPREY-TALON support team was responsive via email, we tackled power specs to find the correct replacement item. My Notebook has a large screen with terrific HD quality – power hog that even the generic ACER power pack was incompatible.
The Technical questions and diagnosis was superb. After a couple emails and forwarding a picture of the heat deformed item, I received the warranty replacement 3-4 days via US Mail. YES I’d do business with OSPREY-TALON again!
