This is a nice bag. It’s made of nylon (I think) and mine is a dark slate grey. The inside, despite what another reviewer said, I would describe as hot lime green/yellow. It’s a nice looking bag, though, and it is nice and roomy without being giant or bulky.

There is a small pocket on the back and one on the front flap (all pockets are zippered). The front flap zips open to reveal another zipped pocket on the inside of the flap, a front base compartment with slots for credit cards, ID, pens, etc (also a small flappy pencil-pouch type thing I just noticed). Behind this compartment is a small blank divided section for papers etc (some of which would go in that front section, too). Behind that is the padded compartment where the computer goes with a small velcro strap to secure it in. My 13in MacBook fits nicely, but my husband’s 17in HP is too big – so I think a 15in MacBook would be fine (as advertised).

I don’t totally get the whole “rounded bottom” thing. I suppose it would make for a softer fall if the bag tipped over, but it also makes it pretty much 100% likely that the bag WILL tip over – perhaps that’s the point? Anyway, the rounded bottom doesn’t seem cumbersome (the bottom is molded a bit, so flat objects will fit comfortably in there and not get weird). Minus one star for me because it is a bit expensive imho for a nylon bag. It doesn’t say so in the desc, but because of the price, I thought it might be leather. Still a nice bag, though! I think I’ll stick to my standard smaller one most of the time, but this one will be nice if I have to pack other stuff besides just the computer and cord.

See pics I posted for a look at the inside pockets.

It’s a good little bag, but as was mentioned, the bottom of the bag slopes up and to the front, so you can’t side the bag down without it falling forward (not ideal if your laptop is inside).

The zippers are of good quality, and the shoulder strap cushion is soft.

I like the fold over flap which can help better protect what’s inside the case, but be warned, it is definitely lime inside. You’ll be able to fit a 15″ laptop inside but a 17″ will be too big just FYI.

The bag does have a Velcro strap inside to help keep the laptop inside if the case tips, and it will tip when you set it down.

Be.ez 100726 LaBesace Lime Drop Messenger Bag for 15-Inch MacBook Pro is light but sturdy and has decent padding. It will fit both 15 and 13 inch laptop nicely.

    Pros:

    1. very stylish (Looks very modern)

    2. Light (less than 2 lbs)

    3. Waterproof and easy to care material (nylon)

    4. Solid yet comfortable shoulder strap

    5. Lots of compartment (and it can fit a lot of stuff)

    6. Decent padding to protect the laptop (and secured strap for the laptop)

    7. Fast access pockets on front and back

    Cons:

    1. Rounded bottom design not allowing the bag to stand by itself (have to lean it to something/the wall)

    2. Very bright lime green interior color (some people might find this bright interior color is a bit too much/bright)

    3. Non standard angle zipper on the front and back (on the outside). instead of horizontal, the front is slanted and the back is vertical (the company claimed this design is for easy access)

All in all, a very nice, messenger style laptop bag. It gets the job done (i.e. protecting and transporting your laptop, in style)

I was surprised how much you can fit in this sucker without it deforming! I also have an InCase product for my Unibody MacBook Pro 15″ and simply putting the charger in that one causes a huge bulge that presses on the screen of the MBP. This does not happen with this case!

I stuffed all this in WITHOUT it deforming the shape of the bag:

15″ MBP, Charger, Panasonic Lumix Digital Camera & Charger, Seagate FreeAgent Go HDD with small FireWire cable, Logitech VX Nano Mouse, iPhone charger, USB Drive, 2 magazines, biz cards, pens, and a few other misc items. The bag looked NO different completely full than when it was totally empty!

Shoulder strap is PLENTY strong enough and the supports are metal, not nylon. It’s made out of a seatbelt! Extra pocket on the outside (right on top!) for easy access to ID/Passport or etc is great. The top zips closed too (versus a snap-close), so even when I tipped the bag over nothing spilled out.

My ONLY negative: There are no handles on the top of the case for when you want to carry it with a hand instead of a shoulder.

The bag doesn’t stand up by itself – and this is a GOOD thing! Laptops are not meant to be set on the screen hinges or lid/body joints! Because this bag won’t stand up on it’s own, it means you are constantly laying it down the correct way. Dunno if it was designed this way on purpose – but it works!

This laptop bag is stylish and functional. The craftsmanship is good, although I’m disappointed that it was made in China. My MacBook Pro fits in the pocket snugly, and there’s a velcro strap that holds it in place. The bottom and sides have some padding and stiffness, so it should provide limited protection if you drop the bag (although I’m not going to test that).

In addition to the pocket for the laptop itself, there’s another one for papers, and then a third for bulkier items, like the power supply. There are also several smaller pockets inside and out. The outside ones have zippers.

I do have two complaints. One, the bag is bulky. The third pocket is contoured. That is, it maintains its size even when empty, and so the bag is about six inches thick all the time. If you’re just going to carry your laptop and a few small items along, this bag is too big.

Second, the smaller pockets look like they’re not designed for common accessories that a MacBook owner would have. There’s only one pocket big enough for either the power supply or a bluetooth mouse. There’s also a set of four pockets that look like they’re designed to hold 3.5″ floppy disks, but nothing that could hold CDs or DVDs. There are no good pockets for holding thumb drives, either.
