    The adapter works well however it didn’t work with the power cable that came with it, i had to use the original power cable that came with the PC, so if you lost your original cables and you are not buying this as a replacement because of a broken ac adapter (as is my case); I wouldn’t in that case recommend this product.

    I have 2 compaq f700 series PCs and both adapters failed about the same time and that is why I bought this.

    the length of the adapter’s cable is shorter that the original, fyi.

    After only having this for about 3 weeks, by computer has stopped recognising that it is charging. The light no longer goes on, and the cord only works once in a blue moon when i move it a certain way. The cord was WAY to short for my liking. The box unit of this would get intensely hot and was too hot for comfort and to the touch.

    I bought this ac adapter becasue the one that came with my compaq stop working properly. At first it worked great and I had no problems, but after about 2 months it stopped working (as if there was a kink in the cable, but I have taken great care to keep this from happening…so now I have to keep repositioning the cord for it to work).

    Title says it all. Grandkids tripped over the charger, breaking it. Spent $40 for a replacement; daughter didn’t learn…left it to be tripped over again…bought two from Amazon that work just as well and were less than half the price
